LOS ANGELES – Oct. 1, 2020 – Signature Resolution is proud to announce the addition of Hon. Lisa Cole (Ret.) to its panel. Judge Cole will serve as a mediator, arbitrator and Discovery Referee resolving personal injury, employment, business/commercial, insurance, real property, real estate, construction and class actions disputes.
During her career on the bench, Judge Cole presided in Santa Monica and downtown Los Angeles. While in Santa Monica, Judge Cole also served as the Supervising Judge of the West District. In downtown Los Angeles, she sat in the prestigious Complex Department, where she oversaw wage and hour cases, class actions, construction and complex insurance disputes. Most recently, she successfully handled hundreds of settlement conferences in virtually every type of civil action.
“Judge Cole is well known for her talent to facilitate settlement discussions and works well across both sides of the aisle,” said Dario Higuchi, managing member of Signature Resolution. “Her persistence, thoroughness and respect for parties makes her an excellent addition to our panel.”
Judge Cole earned her J.D. from U.C. Hastings College of Law and her B.A. from University of California, Berkeley.
