Biography
Allison Eckstrom joins Signature Resolution with over two decades of experience in employment and wage and hour litigation. With a proven track record of resolving complex disputes, she has represented clients across the retail, financial services, technology, transportation, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, property management, and hospitality industries. An accomplished attorney and certified mediator, Eckstrom specializes in helping all parties achieve fair and effective resolutions.
Eckstrom has litigated more than 250 class and representative actions in federal and state courts, skillfully navigating claims involving meal/rest breaks, regular rate of pay, wage statement compliance, rounding, off-the-clock work, expense reimbursements, and employee misclassification, among many others. Eckstrom also litigated single-plaintiff claims under the federal and state anti-discrimination/ harassment/retaliation laws. Her extensive experience in high-risk legal matters and strategic liability assessments has earned her an incredible reputation for delivering favorable results in nuanced cases.
Most recently prior to joining Signature Resolution, Eckstrom was a partner at the international law firm, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, where she served as co-leader of the Employment Class and Collective Actions Team. Her legal career began with a two-year clerkship with the Hawaii Supreme Court. Eckstrom describes her experience at the Hawaii Supreme Court as a defining chapter in her career, providing invaluable preparation for the multifaceted nature of law. Eckstrom moved into private practice in 2004.
A graduate of Southwestern Law School, Eckstrom was a board member of the Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honors Program. She earned a dual degree in political science and law & society at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has also participated in mediation training at Pepperdine University’s prestigious Straus Institute. Before pursuing her undergraduate and law degrees, she worked for a national payroll and human resource management company, where she gained valuable experience in workplace operations.
